CARPATHIAN REGION. Uncertain tribe. Circa 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 13.77 g, 12 h), 'Kinnlos' type, imitating Philip II of Macedon. Celticized laureate head of Zeus to right, without chin. Rev. Celticized horseman to right; below, line with central pellet. Dembski 1143-6. Flesche 722. Lanz 556-63. OTA 244/11. Struck from a worn obverse die and with minor weakness on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
